Here are some keyboards I designed to facilitate entry of Semitic transliteration. Feel free to adapt as you please, though I do ask that if you do, you change the name and acknowledge the original (if the new version bears any resemblance to the one you found here).
- Mac: SemiticXlitMac
- Windows: SemiticXLitWindows (XP)
- Windows: SemiticXLitWindows7 (7) and build notes
The first two of these were formerly available at https://wlu-ca.academia.edu/Karlj%C3%BCrgenFeuerherm).
My thanks to Dr Lucas Freire of Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa for pointing out that the layout file for the Mac version was a copy of the readme—in three years, he is the first to point this out, despite numerous downloads!
The Windows 7 version has kindly been made available for distribution by Daniel Semler; the accompanying notes explain how to do this yourself if you care to, and how to contact Daniel. A similar procedure is likely to work for further editions of the Windows O/S.
